Not Even Love Will Tear Us Apart: A Generative Video

Not Even Love Will Tear Us Apart is a generative video work composed of continuously evolving forms. Through rotation, movement, and mirroring, the system abstracts the symbol of the heart.

The algorithmic composition explores the tension between connection and separation. Pairs of rotating shapes remain connected at a shared point even as the forces implied by their movements suggest they might pull apart. New shapes overlay old structures, adding depth and building a visual history that serves as the foundation for new formations.

The work was featured in the exhibition ‘Yokyerler / Nonspaces’ at Akbank Sanat in Istanbul.
