M.M.M.M. is a generative audiovisual installation created in collaboration with Pedro Tudela and Miguel Carvalhais for an exhibit at the Puppet Museum of Porto, Portugal.
The work is a study on the relationship between movement, memory, and sound. The installation utilizes five software modules and six speakers, filling the room with sounds collected through the manipulation of puppets and scenic objects. LIA conceived the sole visual element: a generative projection of graphic elements that suggest string puppets and are directly stimulated by the sounds projected into the room, creating an integrated audiovisual environment.
