Gasbook 10: Generative Software and Installation

In 2001, LIA was commissioned by Shift.jp.org to contribute to Gasbook 10, a Japanese multimedia publication distributed as a book and CD-ROM.

The generative software application was also presented as a site-specific installation for the launch exhibition ‘Movement’ at the Sendai Mediatheque in Japan. For this presentation, the work was displayed using a specialized laser-pointer interface provided by the venue, replacing the traditional mouse with physical gesture.
