Jean Nouvel, the architect of the Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom, selected two videos (hardVideo/G.S.I.L. XIX by LIA and Ich bin traurig by Didi Bruckmayr and Michael Strohmann) from the DVD SONIC FICTION – Synaesthetic Videos from Austria to serve as an inspirational base for wall artworks in several rooms of the hotel, which were realized by local artists. The hotel was opened on the 14th of December 2010.
